Hemp Oil Vs. Blended oils

Many times we have been asked how hemp seed oil compares to the many "perfectly blended" oils on the market. We have a simple answer to this question, hemp oil is simply better the blended oils. The purpose of these blended oils is to achieve a perfect ratio of the Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) for the human body to propertly be able to digest them. As the most common sources of supplimental EFAs are oils like Evening Primrose, Borage, or Flax oils each one has benefits all to it's own but they must be taken together in a perfect mix in order to get a complete source of EFAs in a perfect balance.

With hemp oil, you do not need to worry about the balance because hemp oil is a perfect mix of EFAs already. Nature has seen to it to make a seed with the proper ratio of Omega 3 and Omega 6 (LNA and LA). Hemp seed has the perfect ratio of these two EFAs that make it the easiest for the human body to absorb. Not only is the ratio of the two most important EFAs idea for human consumption but hemp seed oils also have a significant amount of the elusive Omega 9 (GLA) which can be found in with the other two EFAs no where else in the plant kingdom.

Hemp seed oil is also superior to other bleneded oils in that bleneded oils will never have a complete mixing of the oils involved. There will always be separation of the oils, how can you blend oils that are not meant to be together. This is another advantage of hemp seed oil as every mouthful is already perfectly balanced and the oil will not degrade due to separation on the shelf.

In short, because of the perfect balance of LNA to LA, the fact that hemp seed oils contain 80% polyunsaturated fatty acids and have significant levels of GLA, there is really no comparison with any other oil, even ones specifically blended for perfect balance. Why rely on a blended oil when you could simply eat an oil perfectly blended by nature.
